Peloton Events have designed a unique cycling training camp for ladies - 3 amazing experiences:

  • On the bike training rides, power testing, bunch skills, tactics.
  • Off the bike training – understanding how to train, time effective training and how to balance training with the rest of life, diet, health, stretching etc.
  • Off the bike pampering – fantastic food, fantastic wine (allowed), massage, spa and relaxation.

DESIGNED FOR...


 

  • Elite - Aspiring NRS and world championship riders looking to understand how to improve.
  • Advanced – Strong riders who would like to take the next step. Learn about strengths and weaknesses on the bike and the factors off the bike. For example, those looking to train, prepare and qualify for St Johan or Canada 2020.
  • Grupetto - More social riders who ride regularly but are looking to improve, training for first challenge, sportive or race. For those looking to learn the bike “lingo”.

This offers the unique opportunity to learn and share experiences with other women riders in a safe and supportive environment. It allows the flexibility for you to choose your options, knowing you can:

  • Get away from distractions to focus on your own training and goals,
  • Choose to go hard all weekend with back to back training sessions or choose a mixture of harder and easier sessions,
  • Meet other like-minded women for a fun and relaxing weekend away,
  • Build networks to support you locally for social riding, training or racing.

A fun training camp designed to improve your on and off the bike riding experience and skills. On the bike we will have an elite racing skills group and a more social training for your first event group. Off the bike awesome meals, social, bike nutrition and training will be relevant to all to enjoy better health and fitness and a return to group riding, events and racing.

ITINERARY

Fri 20th Nov

  • Arrival, bike set up, introductions and late arvo prologue and social ride
  • Gourmet dinner. Goal setting, race videos and chat about the weekend

Sat 22nd Nov

  • Gourmet breakfast
  • Training Ride with hill efforts, rolling pace lines, sprints and bunch riding c 4 hours (coffee and shorter option available and support vehicle with us the whole time)
  • Gourmet lunch
  • Afternoon rest and relax, optional massage
  • Coaches Corner – 1 on 1 personal session
  • 1.5-hour optional ride set up as a handicap for the afternoon
  • Special rollers session, stretch session or optional walk or on-site activities including kayaking
  • Nutritional presentation and core exercise session
  • Gourmet Dinner and “secrets of the peloton” informal information evening – pro zoom guest

Sun 23rd Nov

  • Training Ride with timed section, more hill efforts, rolling pace lines, sprints, bunch riding c2 hours
